Ottava Rima

Ottava Rima poetry is written in 8 line octives. Each line has either 10 or 11 syllables. There can be any number of octives in an ottava rima. The syllabic structure is as follows:

1-octive poem: abababcc
2-octive poem: abababcc, dededeff
3-octive poem: abababcc, dededeff, ghghghii
